the national baseball
hall of fame

Since 2014, Farano's artwork has been licensed by the Baseball Hall of Fame, and in 2017, he was named an Official Artist of the Hall. Each year, he is commissioned to create a painting celebrating the entire Induction class, which is widely praised, especially by the players themselves. Farano’s presence in Cooperstown has become an integral part of the annual celebration honoring baseball’s greatest players. During Induction weekend, he showcases a stunning pop-up gallery both inside the museum and at the Induction site. If you’re in Cooperstown for the enshrinement ceremonies, be sure to stop by and say hi to Justyn—he loves talking art and baseball.

With great honor, Artist
Justyn Farano has taken
the crown as the heir to
the throne in the fine art
kingdom of sports and
entertainment.

Over the course of his career, Justyn has created a significant art portfolio. It encompasses many of the top athletes in their respective sports such as Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, and Muhammad Ali. Creating amazing art of the best athletes is one thing, having many of those same athletes own that very art is on a whole other level. It’s truly the greatest testament that any artist could wish for.

Where The
Passion began

Farano’s love for both sports and art began in his early childhood, one of his biggest sports heroes was Ken Griffey Jr., whose remarkable glove work and smooth swing made him a standout figure in Farano's eyes—almost like a superhero. As a young boy, Farano eagerly read Beckett magazine, particularly its annual art issue, which introduced him to the work of other talented artists. It was here that he discovered the diverse range of artistic expression, which inspired him to explore various mediums. At the age of 13, Farano began oil painting and quickly became captivated by the medium’s versatility.
