"Unstoppable"

Tom Brady

In 2007, Tom Brady led the New England Patriots through a perfect 16-0 regular season, throwing a then-record 50 touchdown passes and earning his first NFL Most Valuable Player award. New England advanced to Super Bowl XLII, and Brady’s remarkable season inspired Justyn Farano to paint him for the first time.

“Unstoppable” looks back at that commanding season. Farano captures Brady following through on a pass, his eyes tracking the play as the football leaves his hand. Patriots blue and red, broad stars, and warm gold tones give the composition its unmistakable New England identity. The painting celebrates a specific chapter in Brady’s career, preserving the confidence and precision of a quarterback directing one of football’s most prolific offenses.

The philosophy behind my art has always been to make the most compelling, engaging experience for you, the viewer. I try to envision what it was like to compete against that athlete on the field. I want you to feel that grit and rawness of emotion, the athlete’s competitive fire, and passion.

As a perfectionist, my obsession of getting these details precise, takes razor focus, constant critiquing, and fine tuning. It’s not till the painting is complete to my highest of standard, till I am genuinely satisfied.
