"Runnin' Out Of Fingers"

Tom Brady

A fifth championship required a comeback few could have imagined. In Super Bowl LI, Tom Brady helped New England erase a 28-3 deficit and defeat Atlanta 34-28 in overtime. The victory gave Brady his fifth Super Bowl title and turned a night that seemed beyond reach into one of the defining moments of his career.

In “Runnin’ Out Of Fingers,” Justyn Farano looks back at that milestone through a commanding Patriots portrait. Brady appears in profile, his No. 12 visible across his back, against warm bronze textures, stadium architecture, and a line of musket-bearing soldiers. A play diagram adds another football detail to the background. Bold Brady lettering gives the composition the feel of a championship tribute. The title supplies the finishing touch, marking the moment when even one hand was no longer enough to count his pursuit of rings.

The philosophy behind my art has always been to make the most compelling, engaging experience for you, the viewer. I try to envision what it was like to compete against that athlete on the field. I want you to feel that grit and rawness of emotion, the athlete’s competitive fire, and passion.

As a perfectionist, my obsession of getting these details precise, takes razor focus, constant critiquing, and fine tuning. It’s not till the painting is complete to my highest of standard, till I am genuinely satisfied.
