"Alpha"

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan’s career brought together extraordinary scoring, championship dominance, and a competitive presence that helped make basketball a global game. Six NBA championships, six Finals MVP awards, five league MVP awards, ten scoring titles, and 32,292 career points mark the scope of his achievement. His two three-peats with Chicago defined an era, while his influence reached far beyond the Bulls. “Alpha” celebrates that complete legacy, connecting the milestones in the record books with the player and moments that generations of fans remember.

In his seventh Michael Jordan painting, Justyn Farano brings career statistics and imagery together as a retrospective of Jordan’s greatness. Among its defining images is Jordan embracing his first championship trophy in 1991, a personal glimpse of what those achievements meant to the competitor behind them. This artist recreation is hand-signed by Michael Jordan.

The philosophy behind my art has always been to make the most compelling, engaging experience for you, the viewer. I try to envision what it was like to compete against that athlete on the field. I want you to feel that grit and rawness of emotion, the athlete’s competitive fire, and passion.

As a perfectionist, my obsession of getting these details precise, takes razor focus, constant critiquing, and fine tuning. It’s not till the painting is complete to my highest of standard, till I am genuinely satisfied.
