"In An Instant"

Aaron Rodgers

A passing window can open and close in an instant. During his Green Bay years, Aaron Rodgers made those fractions of a second count, combining a quick release with the ability to find a receiver beyond a defender’s reach. His Packers chapter included a Super Bowl championship and multiple NFL MVP awards, establishing a place among the franchise’s great quarterbacks.

Created early in that Green Bay chapter, Justyn Farano’s “In An Instant” concentrates on Rodgers alone with the football. He faces the developing play in his green No. 12 jersey, hands set and eyes attentive. Warm bronze textures and the Packers’ green and gold keep the composition close and direct. The portrait celebrates the anticipation before the throw, a quiet moment carrying all the possibilities of the play ahead.

The philosophy behind my art has always been to make the most compelling, engaging experience for you, the viewer. I try to envision what it was like to compete against that athlete on the field. I want you to feel that grit and rawness of emotion, the athlete’s competitive fire, and passion.

As a perfectionist, my obsession of getting these details precise, takes razor focus, constant critiquing, and fine tuning. It’s not till the painting is complete to my highest of standard, till I am genuinely satisfied.
