Michael Jordan’s arrival in Chicago introduced an athletic style that quickly became one of basketball’s defining images. His scoring and play above the rim were matched by a career that ultimately included six NBA championships, five league MVP awards, and ten scoring titles.

In “Flight 23,” his second Michael Jordan painting, Justyn Farano captures Jordan airborne in a red Chicago uniform, the basketball extended in one hand. The arena stretches behind him, giving the leap a sense of height and placing the viewer close to the action. Warm bronze tones surround the figure, while the bright uniform and orange basketball hold the focus. The painting celebrates the elevation and body control that made “Air Jordan” such a fitting name. This artist recreation is hand-signed by Michael Jordan.
