2018 MLB Hall of Fame Class

Justyn Farano’s “Class of 2018” brings together six careers that left lasting marks on baseball. Chipper Jones’s switch-hitting excellence, Jim Thome’s 612 home runs and Vladimir Guerrero’s extraordinary hitting talent stand alongside Trevor Hoffman’s 601 saves and the Detroit Tigers legacies of Alan Trammell and Jack Morris. Their induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame united power hitters, an elite closer and championship teammates in one memorable class. Farano celebrates the achievements that earned their places in Cooperstown and the connection fans carry to the players who defined an era for their teams.

The Hall of Fame’s red-brick façade forms the center of the painting, surrounded by the six inductees in the uniforms that connect them to their fans. The induction emblem and warm earth tones make Cooperstown the meeting place for their separate baseball journeys.

This original oil painting is hand signed by Chipper Jones, Jim Thome, Vladimir Guerrero, Trevor Hoffman, Alan Trammell and Jack Morris, each with a “HOF ’18” inscription.
